Our Mission!
Menrva Healthcare is founded on the idea of providing people with information to fulfill their medical needs for themselves and their families. We want to help people identify opportunities to get the care that they need, from credible healthcare professionals at the best price available.
We started with the goal to provide insight into estimated healthcare costs across all verticals including hospitals, insurance, and pharmaceuticals as declared by providers.
The US government has mandated that all hospitals make procedure cost data publicly available. We are collecting the data to help our members make informed medical choices by providing healthcare procedure pricing information to those that need it.
We will make is so that anyone can look up a procedure and compare care options by distance from your home, hospital ratings, insurance provider, cost with insurance, cost without insurance, lowest negotiable price, and more. Once you have an itemized bill from your hospital, look up what you should be paying so you can negotiate with your provider. See what the average payout for your procedure is by state and across the entire country.
Procedures rarely come as only one cost. Often times, if you need to have a surgery performed you will also be billed for the doctor, the hospital, the anesthesiologist, lab fees, medications, and so on. As the Health Insight Portal matures, you will be able to look up a procedure code and have all correlated procedure listed for you along with their estimated costs.
Not all medical events can be planned and you shouldn't be blindsided by exorbitant costs. Our vision is to continue to build upon this by enabling you to upload an itemized bill and have it broken down for you. Where data is available, you will be able to see how much you should really be paying for each itemized bill item.
Menrva Healthcare is a subsidiary of Innate Data Analytics. As such we are computer scientists by trade, and we saw an opportunity to do good for the consumers of healthcare by providing transparency and insight into how our very complicated healthcare system works.
